Mr. Spilver, I've been trying to figure out what your real problem is with me and what I say about the org and its machinations - and I can only reach one conclusion. Talk soon.

What's your real problem Mr. Spilver? Let's discuss it on a separate post, and let the folks here consider it.

Do we attack the Topic or the Person?
by stuckinarut2 ini was just thinking that most witnesses can not approach a controversial topic without turning it into an attack of the person who raises that topic.. as we all awaken to ttatt (the truth about the truth), they simply can't discuss the actual facts or issues we discover without turning it into an attack of us as "apostates" with all the negative connotations that word entails.... how truly narrow minded and sad!
.
they would rather attack the person than the topic..

Watchtower October 2017, page 11, par. 17 - Confess and abandon secret sins. Some Christians who have committed a serious sin try to cover it over in order to avoid embarrassing themselves or disappointing others. (Prov. 28:13) Yet, such a course is unloving, for it harms not only the sinner but also others. It can hinder the flow of God’s spirit and threaten the peace of the entire congregation. (Eph. 4:30) Genuine love moves Christians who have committed serious sins to speak [confess] to the elders......
So Catholics have been right all along??????????? But the alleged "faithful slave" said this less than 7 years ago -
w10 9/1 p. 23 - "God does not authorize men [elders] to forgive sins...only he can do so... to whom should such [serious] sins be confessed? Since forgiveness can come only from God, confession must be made to him."
How quickly "Bible truth" changes!!!!!

Britain Branch to Cease Printing Sooner Than Expected
by The Searcher ini've received the following news from a reliable and trusted source: .
the demise of printing literature in the u.k. is being brought forward by one year - to march 2018. graphic design and printing support will go too.
large numbers of "disposable" bethelites will now have to make their own way in the world, when their "mother" abandons them.

Perhaps many of the U.K. "special full-time servants" will use the remaining 9 months of their "vow of poverty" to reappraise the one-sided loyalty expected within the org - and consider how to adequately provide for themselves now, and into their old age. (which millions were assured would never come!)

I'm so sorry to be late to the party Pale Emperor, (been out all day) but this is genuinely one of the best feel-good posts I've read here! What a result for you and your brother!
Please let him know that there are people whom he's never met who are full of admiration for him.
I wish you both all the very best in your brotherly relationship.

DA myself to relieve great pressure?
by Isambard Crater inmy lifelong mental illnesses, fuelled significantly by the borg, are very bad at the moment and result in me missing lots of midweek meetings, but i haven't missed a sunday in years except the occasional vacation.. the nature of my mental and emotional illnesses mean that i, as a physically in and mentally out pimo, take to heart very painfully admonishment from the platform to never miss meetings, preach all i can, and so on.. okay, i report 3 hours each month on average and no elder has ever said anything, but when they make comments on the platform, i feel such great guilt and shame, but also anger, as they do not understand my illnesses and when i do mention my situation to elders, they kind of minimise and joke about it.. some other sisters in my congregation started "officially" not attending midweek meetings a few year's ago because of their own health circumstances, but i know for a fact that some elders look down on them for this reason, not showing real understanding deep down even if they do on the surface.. i have reached the point where i want to hand in a da letter as a cry for help, or more like a clear indicator to them that when i say i'm not well enough to attend midweek, i really mean it and it's not just an excuse.
sure, i'm only 42, but i can still be too fragile to go out at night with a 30 minute drive both ways..
